UJA, established in 1990, is one of the largest tapioca starch producers in Indonesia with an annual production capacity of 140,000 metric tons. The production facilities are located in Lampung, South Sumatra.

UJA markets a well known domestic brand, "KODOK" (or "Frog"), and is known as a producer of high quality products. UJA exports up to 40% of its production to Japan, China, Taiwan, Philippines, Malaysia and Vietnam.
