GGL is the second largest cattle feedlot in Indonesia with a capacity of 30,000 heads per cycle or 100,000 heads annually.

Established in 1990 in Lampung, South Sumatra, PT Great Giant Livestock (GGL) operates within GGP’s plantation area of 32,000 hectares.

GGL follows strict animal welfare practice and has a strong customer base with 32 supply chain partners approved by Australia’s DAFF (Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry).

As part of the Gunung Sewu Agribusiness “Green” Synergies, GGL processes pineapple peel from Great Giant Pineapple (GGP) and solid waste from Umas Jaya Agrotama (UJA) into feed for its cattle.  And GGL provides cattle manure to GGP which in turn processes it as fertilizer for its plantation.
