PT BARAMUTIARA PRIMA ("BMP") is a 3rd Generation Coal Contract of Work (CCoW) coal mining company. In line with its exploration activities, the 34,000-hectare Work Area has been relinquished to 19,000 hectares with coal reserves of over 400 million tons. It is located in Musi Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatera. Currently BMP is undergoing mine and supporting infrastructure construction and has a 20-year supply contract to Indonesia's National Utility Company, with initial deliveries expected in 2009 to 3 new Coal Fired Power Plants in West Java for approximately 2.4 million tons per annum.
